It is my honor to welcome you all to Mongolia’s first ever online MUN, AMUN 2021. My name is Oyundelger Tsogtsaikhan and I am thrilled to work as the chair of the Organization of American States. Since this committee is being held in our country for the first time, my co-chair and I will do our best to host the committee sessions with passion and make sure that every delegate is provided with extensive knowledge of diplomacy and public speaking.
ENGLISH INTERMEDIATE: OAS
OAS is one of the world’s oldest regional committees that was established in 1948 to achieve among its members“an order of peace and justice, to promote their solidarity, to strengthen their collaboration, and to defend their sovereignty, their territorial integrity, and their independence." To this day, OAS has 35 independent states of the Americas and inaugurates the main political, juridical, and social governmental forum.
