What is AMUN?
Alternative MUN is Model United Nations supporting students from all over the country of Mongolia to participate in a real discussion of modern complex problems to find solutions, come with an idea, and master the skill of public speaking.

Committees
UNCSW- is the functional committee of the United Nations and ECOSOC that consists of 45 Member States. CSW is exclusively dedicated to the active promotion of gender equality, women’s rights.

UNSC- is one of the six principal organs of the United Nations, responsible for ensuring international peace and security.
OAS is one of the world’s oldest regional committees that was established in 1948 to achieve among its members“an order of peace and justice, to promote their solidarity, to strengthen their collaboration, and to defend their sovereignty, their territorial integrity, and their independence." To this day, OAS has 35 independent states of the Americas and inaugurates the main political, juridical, and social governmental forum.

CHINESE: C40 cities
C40 Cities is an organization of 97 cities around the world that aims to fight climate change and drive urban actions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, climate risks, and economic opportunities of urban citizens. As the AMUN is hosting the C40 committee for the first time in Mongolia, it will be a valuable place to learn about cross-sectors and come up with initiative ideas!
CSTD is the division of ECOSOC that solves pertinent issues in science, technology, and its development. In 2021, the commission aims to focus on innovation.
